Puckator Farm has been our family home since August 2013. We’ve worked hard on making improvements to the Farm land and buildings ever since we arrived and we’re not quite ready to stop yet!
Here’s a brief overview of the renovations…so far!
Starting with the Farm House – we completely renovated the whole thing in less than 3 months whilst living in the unconverted Barn End.
Moving onto the Barn End – we converted Barn End to become our holiday let. We have created a comfortably sized holiday home with two bedrooms and space for 4 adults to stay. Barn End is perfect for visitors to Cornwall who are looking for a quiet countryside getaway, whilst still being close enough to the A30 and A38 to reach the major Devon & Cornwall attractions. Extended members of the family are partial to a popping in to stay too!
And next… Puckator Barn itself. In between all of this we have created a new driveway, parking areas, landscaped external areas, upgraded the electricity for the events and camping fields and renovated other outbuildings.
With the work to the main buildings complete, we have since created a glamping pod – complete with mini log-burner – and converted the old Goose Shed into a multi-functional office space and craft room.
Every summer, we hold a Friends & Family Camp-out on the August bank holiday weekend. It’s always a great way to share the Farm with lots of people we know (and some we don’t!) and to show them how far we have come over the last five years, whilst celebrating the end of the summer.
